DEVOTIONAL:

Ephesians tells us that we have been chosen, adopted, set apart by God. We are dearly loved by God just as we are. We don't have to clean up first - Jesus will take us just like we are and help us turn our hearts over to Him.

The apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians chapter one that God has extended His grace - unconditional favor - to us. Our job is to stop trying to do everything our own way, and take time to ask God how He wants things done. Jesus prayed in the Lord's Prayer, "Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Only by searching to understand what God's will is can we 'grow in faith.'

There is nothing so bad that He will ever stop reaching for you.

If you were the only person that needed Him, He still would have come to the earth just for you.

Jesus came to make a way for us to meet His Dad.

Jesus is the bridge.

All we have to do to become part of the family is surrender.

HOW TO FIND CHRIST:

1. Admit you need help. Every person has made mistakes and fallen short.

2. Ask God to forgive you.If you ask God to let you off the hook, He will always do it because He loves you.

3. Invite Him to come into your life. The Lord stands at the door of your heart knocking. He waits for an invitation to come in.

4. Believe. Believe in your heart that Christ was raised from the dead. Romans 10:9

5. Tell somebody! Confess with your mouth that He is part of your life now. Romans 10:10

6. Read the Bible and learn about your new life! Study to show yourself approved. this is how you "grow" in faith. Find new friends that already know Jesus in a personal way. It is important to pursue God so that you learn all that He has for you.
